11 September 2014

The past few weeks have seen the raising and sinking of some mysterious iron walls. I think it’s going to be a bunker to protect all the lawyers and accountants (or Colin) in the event of a bombing.

I’ve written a haiku about it:

Bombs scream down from the
sky, Heroes fill up the ditch,
Colin, protected

In other news, I missed out on a ticket to an amazing on-the-ground tour of the Quay being run by FuturePerth – it booked out in a matter of minutes! Kudos to a great organisation. Check what you’re missing out on (or are amazingly lucky to be a part of) here: http://www.futureperth.org/2014/09/elizabeth-quay-site-tour-monday-15th-september-2014/. If you are on the tour, I would LOVE to hear from you – email me at quaynotespeaker@gmail.com. Cheers!
